In 2009, SAME developed the stockpile tunnel project at Esperanza Mining.

This system contemplated a 60,000 cfm equipment that blows fresh air into the tunnel, solving the problem of dust contamination and improving the temperature inside the tunnel.

This solution is highly efficient in renewing the whole air volume, generating 8 renovations per hour and without leaving blank spaces inside the tunnel.

This solution complies with the regulation DS 594, which regulates the environmental conditions in working environments.
